The cherry-tree transmits carefreeness, joy, art, research and pleasure. Its wood is very hard, compact and resistant, its colours go from orange to brown red.
It is used for the realization of furniture, musical instruments and interiors. With the kernels you can realize linen bags to be first put in the oven and then used to heat you up in the long cold winter nights.

In 1998 we were looking for a new home … we have been searching and searching again and … here it was, in the end, MASO ZONT !
We have fallen in love with “him” at once…a real stroke of lightning! Literally “Maso” is a house with a land estate managed by a family living in the house and working in the fields surronding it by producing vegetables, fruits and by raising animals.
A small self-sufficient world which is definitely becoming lost…
MASO ZONT, first building dates up to the middle 1700’s, and it therefore needed major restoration works. For a whole year we have been working at the renewal of the house.
The external and internal aspects have remained faithful to the typical aspect of the farm-house of Trentino region, but it has gained freshness and modern pleasantness without having been upset and with the straight usage of natural materials such as the recovered wood of the old beams and the “porfido trentino” (typical stone of this area). Our B&B is surrounded by meadows, woods and mountains and it is the ideal place to “feel” nature and its beauty while walking on the paths which run along pine-trees, firs and chestnut woods to reach one of the smallest villages of all Trentino region: Vignola-Falesina which overlooks all the Alta Valsugana (valley) with the two lakes of Caldonazzo and Levico and even the Brenta group (mountains)…360° of freedom and internal peace.
B&B Maso Zont has 3 rooms, 2 of them have a wooden loft and large wooden terraces.
Although the 3rd room does not have a loft, it is larger than the other 2 rooms.
All of them have a personal bathroom. The architectural elements which dominate are the ancient wooden beams of the attics, combined with a country interior design which gives each room a feeling of warmth and serenity.
Rooms are very comfortable and all of them are sound-proof to guarantee our guests privacy and relax.
Windows are broad and our guests can have a borderless view to the surrounding landscape. Besides this, each room has its own heating floor-system.

Rooms balconies are equipped with deck chairs to enjoy the view, and they can be used as a solarium during the day and as a relax corner in the sunset.In the morning our guests can have a various and rich breakfast with fresh fruit-juices, muesli and cereals, yogurth and jams, bread, cakes, coffee, milk, tea. Breakfast is served in the common kitchen, which is equipped with all the comforts to guarantee to our guests a pleasant stay during the whole day.

Valsugana and Lagorai offer a summer on the beaches of Caldonazzo and Levico lake; a thermal well-being thanks to the iron-arsenical waters of Levico and Vetriolo Spa; a variety of trails for the two-wheels lovers with a cycling path of 80 km and 300 km of MTB routes; the Lagorai mountain chain, one of the most natural areas of Trentino with wonderful hikes and an authentic hospitality tradition.

GASTRONOMY
Our guests will have the opportunity to be tempted by discovering oenological and gastronomical routes while tasting the typical wines and dishes of our tradition. In Valsugana, on Caldonazzo and Levico lakes, ideal for summer holidays, and even in the close Val dei Mocheni (valley) with its famous traditions (this valley has even been described by the well known writer Robert Musil in his book “The magic valley”) there are many typical restaurants still cooking following old local recipes of the “poor but loved” cuisine of the Trentino region.

Our rooms
For our rooms we have chosen names inspired by the most peculiar trees of our area.Ciliegio (Cherry-Tree), Cirmolo (Pine-Tree) and Larice (Larch)
According to popular tradition, the pine-tree is able to transmit a positive influence to the human psyche, transmitting the patience and the ability to never lose the established objective. It is mainly used to build beds and cradles, given its peculiarity to ensure a good rest, and for wellness, since it contains C vitamin, essential oils, resin, turpentine and pine nuts.
The larch conveys security, trust and it communicates flexibility, because every year it loses its needles and gets dressed again. The larch wood, which exists both white and red, is very resistant. It is mainly used for the construction of exteriors and all objects that are exposed to the action of atmospheric agents.

Check-in and Check-out: rooms will be available the day of the arrival from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. and the day of departure till 10:30 a.m.. In order to welcome you in the best way, we kindly ask you to inform us about your estimated time of arrival.
Booking confirmation: in the most required periods (June, July and August) you may be asked for a deposit of € 50 per night to confirm your booking. Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of bank transfer. In case of bank transfers received within 7 days from booking, we will confirm the requested date: after this deadline availability can not be guaranteed.
Payment terms: payments can be made by bank transfer before the date of stay or cash at your arrival. Being a B & B without VAT, unfortunately we cannot install the POS equipment for cards and debit cards and therefore we accept only cash.
Cancellation conditions: in case of cancellation, you will be entitled to a refund of the deposit paid under the following conditions:
- before 60 days from the date of arrival refund of 100% of the amount paid;
- between 59 and 31 days from the date of arrival refund of 50% of the amount paid;
- within 30 days from the date of arrival no refund.
Change of date: change of date will be possible just in case rooms are still available and the request is received at least 30 days before the scheduled arrival date. After this deadline, cancellation conditions will be applied.
We reluctantly cannot accept your lovely pets, neither small ones.
